Using vicoMap, your map will be a source of the most up to date information for resort customers.

A weather report provides resort customers with up to date information such as the days conditions, a seven-day forecast and a daily video report.

Experience

Using Webcams, 360° panoramas, Videos, Photos, weather reports and lift and trail updates, resort customers are able to research and plan their next visit to your resort, according to their own interests.

Visitors can easily navigate the map using their mouse and zoom tools. Using the dashboard at the bottom of the map they can turn icons on and off to customise the information shown.

Icons show points of interest on the map and when rolled over, a short description is displayed along with any media available to view and click through links to related pages.

There is a range of existing icons to choose from. These include icons for media, services and facilities along with icons specific to alpine resorts such as trail difficulties, lifts and grooming. New icons can be created and added with the map’s administration system.

The tabs located at the top of the map provide additional information including a weather report, a single-view source for lifts and trail updates and areas for resort customers to upload and share their own content.

Customize

Using the map's administration system, you have full control over the experience visitors to your map have.

Add, move and delete icons, customise their behaviour, determine the visibility of icons when first loaded and edit titles and descriptions. The options available are vast and being added to all the time.

Save time

Some clever features in vicoMap allow you to eliminate double-ups and save time.

The printable grooming report has been specifically designed to make it easy and fast for resorts to print grooming reports - using the information you already have in your vicoMap.

Working with your existing printed stock, vicoMap provides the tools to align and set-up trails and map keys to be overprinted. You can also drag text and images to the printable area and select trail colours and fonts.

The latest resort information can be printed on the reverse of your grooming report and using data tabs this information will update automatically. This means a one-off set-up and a huge time-saver for resort staff.

Engage

Along with viewing resort content, resort customers can upload their own photos and videos to your map. It takes three easy steps and once approved by the administrator it is displayed on the map.

Through the My Map feature, resort customers can also create their own version of your map. Using a log-in they can upload and view their own photos and videos from their time at your resort.

Visitors to your map can easily email a link to their friends and family with the email tab.

MVP
vicoMap is integrated with a multimedia control center, MVP, which allows you to easily collect and organise your videos, photos, webcams and 360° panoramas and add them to your vicoMap.

Alpine plugin

Adding the Alpine Plug-in to your vicoMap transforms it into an interactive alpine trail map with access to a wide range of additional features.

Trails, lifts and areas are added to your map by Resorts Interactive. Visitors can select which trail difficulties they want to see, terrain parks and lifts. By rolling over trails, visitors can read a description, see a photo from the area, the latest status, snowmaking and grooming information.

Lift and trail information is also available at a glance in a tab format, if rolled over, the trail will highlight in the background. This tab also allows map information to be updated quickly by administrators using a check box system.
